Applies to spa, tours, transportation, and meal services
1. General Conditions
- All services are subject to availability and must be booked at least 24 hours in advance through our official communication channels (reservations and front desk).
- Any discriminatory, disrespectful, or harassing behavior towards staff or others is strictly prohibited. In such cases, the service will be canceled without refund.
- We reserve the right of admission and to cancel services if safety or comfort is compromised. This includes any behavior that endangers others, disrupts harmony, or goes against internal rules.
- All visitors must check in at Reception and present valid ID before entering the facilities.
– Children must always be supervised by an adult during any service or while on the premises.
– Guests are expected to follow all posted guidelines and verbal instructions provided by staff at all times.
2. Payments, Cancellations & No Shows
- All services are charged per person and do not include taxes, service charges, or transaction fees, which will be added to the final bill.
- A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation.
Cancellations:
- More than 7 days: Full refund.
- 7 to 1 day before: Partial refund depending on incurred costs.
- Less than 24 hours or no-show: No refund.
- More than 7 days: Full refund.
- Reducing the number of participants is considered a partial cancellation and follows the same terms.
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or text through our official channels.
- If the service is canceled by the establishment, rescheduling or full refund will be offered.
– Changes to reservations are subject to availability and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
– Gift cards or service credits are non-refundable and valid for one year unless otherwise stated.
3. Spa
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early; delays over 15 minutes are considered no-shows.
- Shower before treatments and avoid eating immediately beforehand.
- Phones should be silenced to ensure a peaceful atmosphere.
- Some treatments may have age or medical restrictions; check in advance.
- Inappropriate behavior cancels the service with full charge applied.
– For safety and quality, services are offered to one person at a time unless otherwise specified.
– Pregnant guests should consult with the therapist beforehand as not all treatments may be suitable.
4. Tours & Activities
- Participation implies acceptance of inherent risks; clients assume responsibility.
- A liability waiver must be signed upon booking.
- Participation is not allowed under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or with aggressive behavior. No refunds in these cases.
- Guides may deny participation based on safety assessment.
- Activities may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather or other safety factors.
- Some activities may have age or fitness requirements—please consult beforehand.
– Wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Safety gear provided must be used as instructed.
– Punctuality is required. Late arrivals may result in missed activity without refund.
5. Transportation
- Agreed pickup times must be respected. A 10-minute grace period applies before the service is canceled without refund.
- Clients are responsible for personal belongings. Río Chirripó is not liable for items left in transport vehicles.
– Any route changes or extra stops must be requested in advance and may incur additional costs.
– Use of seatbelts is mandatory at all times during transport.
6. Meals
- Notify us of allergies or dietary restrictions at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the menu may be adjusted based on ingredient availability.
- Less than 24-hour cancellations or no-shows will be fully charged.
– External food or beverages are not allowed unless approved by management.
– Meal times are set according to the retreat or reservation schedule. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
